In very good condition. Has a bookplate and former owner's inscription, but otherwise pristine. Reprint of the 1930 edition. James Adair set out to prove his theory that the Indians were lineal descendants of the Lost Tribes of Israel. This descent,'' Adair writes, "I shall endeavor to prove from their religious rites. civil and martial customs, their marriages, funeral ceremonies, manners, language, traditions, and a variety of particulars."
